A hallucinatory, mind-bending, consciousness-expanding, dream-like experience is not what you'll find in this can. It's just a beer, man. But, this cloudy IPA does have a gnarly hit of Riwaka, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, with a tropical citrus flavour, and a totally piney finish. At least it's a trip for your taste-buds. Far out.

Emerson's are thrilled to have made the Otago Nuggets and Southern Hoiho team this season. While they do the hooping, Emerson's do the hopping. Sending out an all-star, all-American line-up of Citra, Mosaic and Cascade hops, to keep your taste buds on their toes. Hoops is the perfect balance of malt and hop, with aromas and flavours of berry, tropical fruit and pine. You might just be looking at this year's MVB.

Warning, You're dangerously close to a bear. So, now is a good time to study up on the famous Three Bear Rule. If it's brown, lay down. If it's black, fight back. If it's tangelo, say hello. Lucky for you, this Juicy Bear is the latter. An IPA brewed with Citra, Motueka and Galaxy hops, then infused with copious amounts of natural tangelo extract, for a full citrus overload. The Orange Roughy's scientific name is Hoplostethus atlanticus. Which roughly translates as, hazy, hoppy pale ale with a tropical fruit aroma, citrus flavour, and malty backbone. In the past, the roughy has been subject to unsustainable practices - completely selling out. Thanks to the hard work of our brewers, numbers are now on the rise. Careful you don't exceed your quota, though.

This Hazy IPA was brewed by the women of Emerson's to celebrate International Women's Day. So it's no surprise it was made with passion. Two kinds of passion, in fact. Fresh passionfruit juice and Abstrax Skyfarer Passionfruit went into the brew with Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe hops. It's intensely tart, tangy and fruity. The kind of flavour you'll feel strongly about. Passionate, even.

From the Land of the Long White Cloud to the Land of the Rising Sun Sonkei, respect. This lager was humbly brewed with the utmost reverence for its ingredients, and Japan. It is a celebration of subtlety and restraint. Delicate, light, crisp, refreshing, and harmoniously balanced with just the right amount of zesty Yuzu citrus. You don't need to take off your shoes, but please, drink respectfully.

At 04:17pm, on 22 July 2028, Dunedin's sun will be fully obscured. Only this time, it won't be a cloud that's getting in the way. It will be the first total solar eclipse here, since 1163. To mark this historic, future moment of darkness, a super Bright IPA was brewed. Sunblock was brewed with Eclipse hops (of course), for sweet mandarin orange, zesty citrus peel flavours, and a fresh subtle pine finish. Best enjoyed with your eclipse glasses on. This beer was brewed in collaboration with the astronomy loving friends at Tuhura Otago Museum.

Full Send was brewed as a collaboration between Epic Beer and AJ Hackett Bungy for the 2026 Smith's New Zealand IPA Challenge in Queenstown. It brings together two brands that have never had much interest in playing it safe. Full Send is a bright, high-impact New Zealand IPA built around Eshcapade - a brand new hop variety from Eggers Hops. Motueka, Riwaka and Nectaron play the supporting chorus, adding lemon-lime zest, tropical lift, and juicy stone fruit depth.

Built for the West Coast IPA Challenge, this is a full-throttle hop production with Columbus and Mosaic in the lead roles. Big performance. Sharp direction. Bright lights. Loud applause. The kind of finish that brings you back for an encore.

Stout, the original craft beer. From a time when the world was awash in a sea of industrial lager, you could always find that one beer of difference, Stout. The only beer with its own global annual holiday, when everyone finds some distant relative from Ireland to justify taking the day off work and drinking Stout. Epic Stout has a medium body, creamy texture and long roasty finish. Satisfying, creamy and smooth.

Embrace the Garagista spirit - ignore convention, experiment, test the limits, and look at things a little differently. Brewed and double dry hopped with New Zealand, Australian and US hops. Great things can come from the garage.

Hapi, the Maori word for hop, inspires this truly Pacific pale ale. Brewed with New Zealand barley and the best of the Kiwi hop harvest, Motueka, Wai-iti, Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin. Assertively hoppy - exceptionally drinkable. Sessionble in strength, bright golden in colour and loaded with generous quantities of aromatic New Zealand hops. Very friendly indeed.
